Session 3 2024 PS AM: Fairy Tale Reading Adventures
Session 3 AM: June 24 - July 5 (no school July 4)
Age / grade level: Preschool
Teacher: Mrs. Kaitlin Redborg, MFA
Description: Step inside the world of knights, dragons, and fairies through timeless literature. Each day we will explore a classic fairytale as well as an unfamiliar fairytale from another culture. Engage your childs’ love of pretend play, and storytelling to learn about world geography and explore different cultures. Children will engage in dramatic play as they dress-up as Kings, Queens, Knights, Dragons and Fairy-princesses. In addition to dress-up play we will construct our very own castle and perform fairytale stories in our puppet theater. At the end of the 2 week session we will act out some of our favorite stories for parents. Children will make fairytale themed arts and crafts including our own shields, wands, crowns and more to take home. Join us for an educational and fun-filled morning of Fairytale Theater!
