Session 2 2023 K/1 PM: Solar System: Out of This World
Session 2 PM: June 20-30
Age / grade level: K/1st
Teacher: Ms. Kathryn Anderson, B.S. Ed
Description: Over the course of the next ten days students will engage in several hands-on learning opportunities to become familiar with each planet in our solar system. The students will also have the opportunity to enhance their social skills through interactions with peers during each activity. Research shows that students who engage in hands-on activities have a greater understanding of complex topics. This class will be a wonderful way for your child to be introduced to the solar system, engage with their peers, and enhance their learning.
Teacher Bio: Ms. Anderson is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama. Her education has allowed her to have over 1,000 hours of classroom experience.
