Description:

Introduction to Montessori

Allow your child to explore our Montessori materials and utilize their senses in our sensorial area. Building, using tools, and sensory play will encourage your child and awaken their love for learning. This class offers many one on one lessons and allows your child to love our preschool environment before the school year officially begins. Children will have a new lesson each day and work toward a small portfolio to take home at the end of class.

Teacher Bio:

Mrs. Margee Freeman graduated from The University of Alabama in 2001 with a degree in German. While pursuing her bachelor's degree, she spent over a year attending the Paedigoesche Hochschule in Weingarten, Germany. This university specializes in education and “Frau" Freeman planned, taught, and was observed daily while attending the PH. This experience taught her how to effectively teach foreign languages to children and develop her lesson planning. She has over 20 years of Montessori experience and two graduate degrees in her field. She earned her master’s in German in 2004 and her master’s in early childhood education/Montessori education in 2022. Frau Freeman is AMS certified and a proud member of the American Montessori Society.
