Picture
Melanie Mew is the High School Biology teacher.  A 2017 graduate of The Capitol School herself, she is thrilled to be back and teaching a subject she loves. Melanie is completing a Master’s of Science in Biology at The University of Alabama. Her research seeks to understand how natural genetic variation affects whether some individuals will develop Parkinson’s disease. Melanie is excited to mentor and share her passion for biology with the next generation of Capitol School students.
