Art

Mrs. Kaitlyn Redborg has taught at The Capitol School since 2014.   She teaches Art in small groups of 12 for students in grades K-12.  Mrs. Redborg teaches a variety of media and styles in addition to Art History.

​Each year, she also introduces the students to various illustrators—especially those the children may recognize from picture books.


Mrs. Redborg’s background includes earning her Master’s of Fine Arts degree from The University of Delaware.  Her undergraduate B.A. degree was earned at Lawrence University in Wisconsin.   She has participated in several outstanding arts programs such as the Chicago Arts Program, Kansas CityArt Institute for Printmaking and at the Lorenzo de Medici Institute  Dell’ Arts in Florence, Italy.
