Faculty - Expert TeachersGermanMrs. Heike Schad has been teaching German at the Capitol School since 2011. She is a native of Hamburg, Germany who moved to Tuscaloosa in 1999. She graduated in 1992 from a university in Hanover and moved to Bonn where she worked for 7 years. As a full-time Mom, she volunteered in Tuscaloosa schools and at the Arboretum teaching environmental programs. Mrs. Schad has tutored German adults and students and worked at the German Supplemental School before coming to teach German for grades K-12 at The Capitol School.
