Music

Mr. Deric Whatley is the music teacher for grades preschool through 12. He earned his masters degree in Music Composition from The University of Alabama and also has extensive training in multiple instruments and recording engineering. Mr. Whatley has been teaching music and music lessons for over 15 years. He joined the faculty of The Capitol School in the fall of 2012. In addition to the general music classes and group piano lessons, Mr. Whatley also offers private piano, guitar, percussion, and voice lessons for an additional fee.
