Mrs. Courtney Sanders is the Guidance Counselor and the History Teacher for the Upper School at The Capitol School. Mrs. Sanders is a native of Tuscaloosa and attended Tuscaloosa City Schools. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of West Alabama with a  Masters of Elementary Education. Ms. Sanders joined The Capitol School in 2018. Previously, she taught preschool and also first grade in the Shelby County School District. Mrs. Sanders’ goal is to provide a child-centered environment where every child can succeed.
