Teacher: Ms. Jennifer Nad

Description:

The Math & Reading Foundations Camp is designed to help children ages 5–7 build confidence and strengthen the essential skills they need for the upcoming school year. Through hands-on activities, games, stories, and small-group instruction, campers will review key math and reading concepts in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

In math, children will practice number sense, counting, addition and subtraction foundations, problem-solving, and patterns using manipulatives and real-life scenarios. In reading, campers will focus on letter sounds, phonics, comprehension, and early writing skills through interactive read-alouds and literacy games.

This camp is perfect for children who want a gentle refresher, extra practice, or a confidence boost before the new school year begins. The goal is to make learning joyful while reinforcing the strong academic foundations that help students feel prepared, capable, and excited to learn.
