Blast off into a cosmic math adventure! In this space-themed session, students tackle exciting challenges involving numbers, logic, measurement, and problem-solving, all inspired by planets, rockets, and galaxies. Through hands-on activities and interactive games, campers discover that math can be both fun and empowering. This session builds confidence and curiosity while helping students strengthen essential math skills in an engaging, imaginative environment that’s truly out of this world.
Teacher Bio:
Mrs. LaReau shares two children, both who attend The Capitol School, with her husband Jody. She enjoys reading & sewing in her free time and has always had a deep love for psychology and the care and attention that goes into teaching children. Over the past three years, she has worked with students from Preschool through 5th grade, as she previously served as the Lead Toddler and Afternoon Explorations Teacher at The Capitol School. She is now a co-teacher in the 5–7-year-old cluster with Ms. Nad. She holds a certification in Early Childhood Development, and a duel Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education. She is continuing her academic journey for her Masters in 2026 in Child Development & Elementary Education.
Please fill out all information for each child's first registration. For additional registrations, you only have to complete the required information.
Note: This cost is for the registration fee only. You must pay the balance of the total camp cost by the first day of camp. Information will be provided in your receipt or you can pay here: se2026_sc_balance. You should also receive an email a week prior to the start of camp with payment information. You may also pay in the office.
