Session 4 2026 K/1 AM: Big Builds, Smart Kids! STEM Construction Camp
Session 4 AM: July 6 - 17
Age / grade level: K/1
Teacher: Ms. Jennifer Nad
Description:
Put on your hard hat and get ready to design, build, and problem-solve! In this two-week STEM Construction Camp, young builders will explore math through hands-on engineering challenges that grow in complexity each day. Campers will design towers, bridges, and creative structures while practicing essential math skills like counting, comparing, estimating, and problem solving.
Throughout the camp, children will build within block limits, measure and compare heights, complete pattern block challenges, and learn to estimate before checking their work. Working independently and in small teams, campers will develop confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills while discovering how math helps real engineers bring big ideas to life.
Perfect for curious minds who love to build, this camp blends STEM learning with play, helping students strengthen foundational math skills in an engaging, age-appropriate way—where every day is under construction!
