Session 2 2026 K/1 AM: Fairytale Adventures
Session 2 AM: June 8-18
Age / grade level: K/1
Teacher: Ms. Jennifer Nad
Description:
Once upon a time… and then again… and again! In this magical summer camp, young readers will explore classic fairy tales by reading multiple versions of the same story. Campers will compare and contrast characters, settings, and endings, discovering how one story can be told in many creative ways.
Through read-alouds, discussions, art projects, and imaginative play, students will build early reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. To top it all off, campers will become authors themselves—planning, writing, and illustrating their very own fairy tale with a unique twist! This camp is perfect for Kindergarten and 1st grade students who love stories, creativity, and a little bit of magic.
