What do fractions and food have in common? A lot! In Cooking With Fractions, campers cook tasty treats while learning to measure, divide, and multiply fractions—making math meaningful, fun, and delicious.
Teacher Bio:
Danielle Bryant is a native of St. Louis Missouri who moved to Tuscaloosa in 2017 to attend the University of Alabama. There, she received a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Elementary Curriculum and Instructional Strategies. Her Master’s emphasis was in mathematics and she is passionate about guiding students into deeper understandings of key math principles. Her Capitol School journey started in 2021 as Mrs. Hill’s intern. Prior to being the lead teacher for the 9-11 year old cluster she was a 4th grade teacher at a magnet school.

Note: This cost is for the registration fee only. You must pay the balance of the total camp cost by the first day of camp. Information will be provided in your receipt or you can pay here: se2026_sc_balance. You should also receive an email a week prior to the start of camp with payment information. You may also pay in the office.
