Session 1 2025 K/1 PM: Legos
Session 1 PM: May 27 - June 6
Age / grade level: K/1
Teacher: Mrs. Margaret L. Hill, B.S., M.A., Ed.S
Legos – Legos are a great material to explore how to solve various problem challenges. A student’s success in math and reading has been linked by research to the development of spatial reasoning. Building with Legos is an excellent way to develop Visual-Spatial Intelligence and the small motor skills used in handwriting. Students will practice following step-by-step instructions and will have opportunities to develop problem-solving skills. Best of all, they will have opportunities to interact with other students to develop social skills. Be sure to sign up early. This class always fills up quickly. Please note that we will use videos, iPad apps, and websites as part of our learning.
