Step into the whimsical worlds of Eric Carle and Mo Willems in Story Explorers Camp! This fun-filled camp invites young readers on an exciting adventure through the stories of two beloved authors. From the vibrant animals of Eric Carle's books to the playful antics of Mo Willems' Pigeon, campers will explore the magical worlds these authors have created, while strengthening their reading, writing, and creative skills. Through interactive storytelling, arts and crafts, and imaginative play, children will dive deep into the fun and heartwarming stories of Carle and Willems!
Teacher Bio: Jennifer Nad has been an educator for the past nine years, teaching toddlers and four-year-olds, as well as special education students in a self-contained classroom. This year marks her return to Capitol School, where she is now teaching 5- to 7-year-olds. Jennifer is a 2012 graduate of Capitol School and went on to earn her undergraduate degree in early childhood and elementary education from Jacksonville State University. She furthered her education at the University of West Alabama, where she earned three master's degrees in elementary education, special education, and learning, design, and technology. She also holds an Educational Specialist degree in special education and a teaching certificate in German.
Originally from Germany, Jennifer moved to the United States in 2004 and has called it home ever since. She is thrilled to be back at the Capitol School and is excited to continue her passion for teaching!

Note: This cost is for the registration fee only. You must pay the balance of the total camp cost by the first day of camp. Information will be provided in your receipt or you can pay here: se2025_sc_balance. You should also receive an email a week prior to the start of camp with payment information. You may also pay in the office.
