Description: This camp is full of adventure as we learn all about shooting with a bow, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and camping while learning about the great outdoors! Shooters and adventurers of all levels are invited to join us as we learn and explore the world around us! Archery and outdoor adventures are a great way to improve muscular strength, mental focus, self-confidence, and relieve stress. Range sessions will take place at The Capitol School and include field trips to the Tuscaloosa Community Archery Park. During camp students can also look forward to exploring the outdoors at local swimming and hiking spots.

Teacher Bio: Jenni Jensen attended the University of Alabama where she completed two B.S. Degrees in Physical Education Teacher Education and Exercise and Sport Science. Jenni then continued her education at UA as a master's degree student and graduate assistant in Sport Pedagogy. Jenni is our Physical Education teacher here at The Capitol School. In addition to teaching, Jenni coaches our cross country team, and works one-on-one with youth athletes as a personal trainer. She has worked with individuals from beginner to advanced in the gym, helping them achieve their goals and teaching injury prevention. Jenni is passionate about helping students develop a lifelong healthy and active lifestyle through activities they enjoy, healthy eating habits, and positive self-image.
Please fill out all information for each child's first registration. For additional registrations, you only have to complete the required information.
Note: This cost is for the registration fee only. You must pay the balance of the total camp cost by the first day of camp. Information will be provided in your receipt or you can pay here: se2025_sc_balance. You should also receive an email a week prior to the start of camp with payment information. You may also pay in the office.
