Description: Our Nature Arts and Crafts Summer Explorations Camp is designed to build upon Howard Gardner’s Naturalistic Intelligence. We will go out of school and into nature to observe the beauty of the Earth, classify elements of the environment, and inspire wonder and curiosity in all our campers. We plan to follow the ideas in beautiful children’s books about nature including Slow Down and Be Here and Now, storytelling experiences including forest fairy tales, and writing nature poems. Campers will enjoy making so many crafts representing what we find up in the garden and down in the dirt. We will work daily to compile a nature journal and create colorful journey sticks to use as we explore the grounds of Capitol Park.
Please fill out all information for each child's first registration. For additional registrations, you only have to complete the required information.
Note: This is the full camp cost.
