Outdoor Adventures!
This camp is full of adventure as we learn all about shooting with a bow, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and camping while learning about the great outdoors! Shooters and adventurers of all levels are invited to join us as we learn and explore the world around us! Archery and outdoor adventures are a great way to improve muscular strength, mental focus, self-confidence, and relieve stress. Range sessions will take place at The Capitol School and include field trips to the Tuscaloosa Community Archery Park. During camp students can also look forward to exploring the outdoors at local swimming and hiking spots.
Teacher Bio:
Ms. Jenni Bush is the Physical Education teacher at The Capitol School. She graduated from the University of Alabama in May of 2015 with a M.A. in Sport Pedagogy. Jenni has been teaching PE and archery at The Capitol School since August 2015. Jenni is certified as a National Archery in Schools Program Basic Instructor which focuses on archery techniques from students elementary through high school. She enjoys being outdoors and looks forward to spending time working with the students in an adventurous environment.
Please fill out all information for each child's first registration. For additional registrations, you only have to complete the required information.
Note: This cost is for the registration fee only. You must pay the balance of the total camp cost by the first day of camp. Information will be provided in your receipt or you can pay here: SE2023 Summer Camp Balance. You should also receive an email a week prior to the start of camp with payment information. You may also pay in the office.
